On Feb. 14, 1964, HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, became the first community college in Pennsylvania. Proudly YOURS, we are the largest and oldest community college in Pennsylvania. We offer more than 120 programs across our five campuses and online. We encourage you to learn more about us, starting with our mission and strategic plan.
Our history shows how much the College has grown in serving its students and the needs of the community. Since the first Commencement ceremony in 1964, the College has graduated more than 48,170 students – this is only one of many facts about HACC.

General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) allows you to work exclusively on General Motors vehicles. General Motors (GM) is a world leader in automotive technical innovation, and you will gain exposure to OnStar connectivity, gasoline direct injection, plug-in hybrids and advanced diesel engine technology.
Our program is accredited in eight categories of automotive repair by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (NATEF), a division of the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

I am a GM World Class Technician, and earned my BS from Eastern Mennonite University. I am a Graduate of the Ford ASSET Program and am also a Ford Master Technician. I also hold credentials of ASE Master Technician. I worked as a Technician for 25 years for Ford, Chrysler, Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen.
